ELLEN SEJERSTED BØDTKER har konsertert på de fleste scener i Norge, ved mange av våre festivaler samt over store deler av verden. Hun er en harpist med særpreg og er i dag en av Skandinavias ledende harpesolister. Hun har sin utdannelse fra Norges Musikkhøyskole, Hochschule für Musik und Dartstellende Kunst , Wien og Indiana University, USA.
Ellen er kjent for sitt sterke engasjement for samtidsmusikk og samarbeider med flere av våre fremste nordiske komponister.
Hun spiller også i ensembelet Oslo Sinfonietta. Sammen med Oslo filharmoniske Orkester har hun deltatt på prestisjefylte festivaler over store deler av verden.
Ellen har spillt inn 8 solo album og er gjeste artist for en rekke innspillinger i helt ulike sjangre, noe som har gitt henne konserter i Japan, USA, Frankrike, Tyskland , Italia, Russland og Canada. Hun har regi og ideen til forestillingen HJERTEBLOD.

She is a harpist with distinctive features and is today one of Scandinavia’s leading harp soloists. She was educated at the Norwegian Academy of Music, Hochschule für Musik und Dartstellende Kunst Vienna, and at the Indiana University, USA. Ellen is known for her strong commitment to contemporary music and works with many of our leading Scandinavian composers. She is holding the position as solo harpist in the ensemble Oslo Sinfonietta. Along with the Oslo Philharmonic Orchestra, she has participated in prestigious festivals in many parts of the world. Ellen has recorded eight solo albums and has been a guest artist for numerous recordings in completely different genres, which has given her concerts in Japan, USA, United Kingdom, Germany, Italy, Russia and Canada. She is the founder and director of the Munch performance Lifeblood.
